REVEREND ART MILLER

Rev. Art was born in Austell, Georgia, the youngest son and sixth of eight children. He distinguished himself early as the first male in his family to graduate high school and later built a successful career in sales, eventually relocating to Los Angeles while working as a field agent for Nielsen Ratings. He later advanced into leadership roles at Robinson-May and Sit ’n Sleep.

During this period, Rev. Art faced significant health challenges, including an HIV diagnosis and a pre-Alzheimer’s condition. True to his resilient spirit, he returned to school, earning a degree from Santa Monica College as an honors student and member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing.

Rev. Art joined Unity Fellowship of Christ Church Los Angeles in 2003 and became deeply involved in community service. Drawing on his culinary skills and leadership experience, he has supported feeding programs serving Skid Row and surrounding communities for more than two decades.

He currently serves as Director of Feeding Ministries, overseeing Friday Night Street Life, Holiday Feedings, and the Eugene Baker Legacy Food Bank, and as Chief Operations Officer of the Eugene Baker Legacy Food Bank. Rev. Art also serves on the church’s Board of Directors as Secretary. Ordained in 2023, his ministry reflects compassion, leadership, and unwavering commitment to service.
